I’m the founder of John Dee Digital — a Cobourg-based technology practice focused on helping people make practical use of AI and modern digital tools.

With more than two decades of experience in enterprise software, banking, data systems, and risk management, I’ve spent my career solving complex technical problems and translating them into solutions people can actually use. Trained as a Systems Design Engineer at the University of Waterloo, I bring a hands-on, no-jargon approach to every project.

John Dee Digital was built around a simple idea: technology should feel useful, not overwhelming. Whether I’m working with a small business exploring automation, someone curious about AI, or an organization looking to modernize the way it works, the focus is always the same — clear thinking, practical solutions, and technology that fits real life.

The name itself is a nod to the original John Dee, a Renaissance scholar known for helping others navigate complex and unfamiliar ideas. That same spirit shapes my work: making difficult technology more understandable, approachable, and genuinely useful.

Outside of work, I enjoy electronic music, board games, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with my wife Shelley and our black lab, Luna.
